Mulch and Bark
Why Mulch? Regular mulching helps with weed suppression, moisture retention, erosion control and regulation of soil temperatures. Mulch that contains finer particles is more soil-conditioning and will provide a microbial food source.
Mulch is a material that is spread over the ground to enrich or insulate the soil. Think of it as a barrier that helps reduce weed growth, hold and conserve water and protect plant roots from climate shock.
Mulch can come in many different forms – ground, chipped or shredded.
Earthborn mulches also come in different grades (sizes) with varying levels of fine and coarse particle sizes.

This bark comes in rich brown and red earthy tones, giving both small and large scale gardens a higher level of finishing without the hassle of stained pathways. This mix is long lasting and does not contain fines, ensuring high levels of drainage and water penetration through to the soil layer. This decorative mulch is forestry sourced which reduces risk of weed seeds.
